Challenges

  • Increase the operational effectiveness of handset operators with an adequate and more functional technological infrastructure
  • Reduce the size of the terminals placed on the desk stand
  • Facilitate public consultation of “10&Lotto” game extras
  • Ensure the delivery of quality multimedia and promotional content
  • Maintain an aesthetic layout at the homogeneous sales outlet which can be traced back to the group

Solutions

The first phase of the project, launched in 2014, has been focused on the creation of 15.6” Monitors, a cutting-edge format that is difficult to find on the market and more compatible with notebook displays.

The monitors had to offer full compatibility with the PCs to which they would be connected and equipped with; the traditional VGA input as well as HDMI port, speakers, a support base with a wide tilting angle, and external power delivery with separate power supply cable.

The monitor bezel have been customized in the corporate colour of the group. After testing the first prototypes, the production of several thousand units was subsequently confirmed.

The next phase of the project, in the course of 2015, saw the realisation of 21.5 “, 32″ and 40” monitors for use as wall mounted multimedia displays earmarked for the lottery. For this provision, the sound performance of the monitors has been optimized, with adjustments on speaker settings and their power adjusted according to PC consumption, and arranged with a modified USB port with 5V to 1A output. All monitors were customized with the “10&Lotto” logo.

HANNspree wins the tender for the supply of monitors intended for bench top lottery terminals and large format displays for the delivery of multimedia content and promotional content at the point of sale.
