HUNOVA is a robotic system born from the clinical need to have an objective assessment and rehabilitation tool for lower limbs, trunk and the vestibular and cognitive system, which which joins the doctor, the physiotherapist and the patient during the entire course of treatment and recovery.

The intuitive and easy-to-use system integrates mechatronics, electronics, sensors, and software, and processes treatments that involve more than 80% of rehabilitation, from ankle knee, hip, pelvis, and trunk, to the vestibular system and cognitive system, with applications ranging from orthopedics to neurology, geriatrics and sports.

HUNOVA consists of a robotized and sensuous seat and platform, and allows objective detection and measurement of the biomechanical parameters of the patient, which can perform more than 150 different exercises all programmable according to specific needs and deficits observed.

A HD touch screen allows the patient to actively interact during treatment through administered rehabilitation protocols that appear as easy-to-play, intuitive videogames. Through gaming exercises, the patient is stimulated to overcome goals and exceed the targets scores previously achieved, accelerating recovery and transforming therapeutic exercise into fun activity.

The interactive interface provides visual and audible biofeedback indicating trunk oscillation information, load distribution, seat and platform inclination.

Development Times
