The Real and Imagined Cityscapes of Post-War Britain is the ambitious headline exhibition of the Spring 2017 Architecture programme at the Royal Academy of Arts in London. The display explores the complex and frequently contested interactions between the futures that Britain’s post-war cityscapes were designed to help bring about and those that actually played out in reality.

Collaboration

Hannspree were approached to collaborate on realising the exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts with a request for large screen Tablet PCs. Three Hannspree HANNSpad Titan 2 Tablet PCs have been installed into the exhibition and are being utilised to play three videos on loop featuring different architecture typologies and case studies selected by six guest curators.

Event Background

The Britain that emerged from the Second World War was a nation shattered, yet also profoundly optimistic.
